One song can spark a moment, 
One flower can wake the dream 
One tree can start a forest, 
One bird can herald spring. 

One smile begins a friendship, 
One handclasp lifts a soul. 
One star can guide a ship at sea, 
One sentence can frame the goal 

One vote can change a nation, 
One sunbeam lights up a room 
One candle wipes out darkness, 
One laugh will conquer gloom. 

One step must start each journey. 
One word must start each prayer. 
One hope will raise our spirits, 
One touch can show you care. 

One glare can start romance
One kiss can set up a fire
One soul allowing a chance
One life now not going haywire

One life, for so long lonesome
One other feeling up that pain
One pen writing up the poem
One person feeling now amain

One cloud can let fall a drop
One drop can start a rain
One rain can help out a crop
One member of the food chain

One payer can help one to see
One journey that was almost lost
One life now filled up with glee
One day after bridges been crossed

One voice can speak with wisdom, 
One heart can know what's true, 
One life can make all the difference, 
You see, now it's up to you!
